So.. yeah, I now started animating on this production series at work. I can't tell you what it is..
=) yet.. But it's huge!! Each episodes runs about 21 minutes, we got the rig and props from
the asset team and rigger team while I and another bunch of great folks only do the animation.
Even though the quota for the animation is quite dramatic, I got to animate 350 frames in
1 day! That sounds like insane. At least it's not that super complex like what Pixar had =) so, if
you think about it, that doesn't sound like insane too.. =p What am I talking about..
But hey, it's more than just meets the eye, these new things are pretty huge addition to my
experience, since the studio pipeline is already matured and I am amazed how they work
things out here. It's just out of my league. So it's been great to learn from these people, I often
go look around and ask a bunch of things to the asset team 'till the rendering people. So this is
how working in a big production feels like. Everyone is so dedicated to their work (Well, not all,
but mostly =p) and the collaboration between each team is managed so well.
Well put, I am going to give my best forward and I hope it would be a great journey, if it's not
already is.. And mind you, I came here not to take this as a job, but I am here to learn from
the best. And boy, wasn't it worth it! =)
